The car insurance comparison uk website has discovered that an event taking place in the later part of this month may help to settle the dispute of who makes better drivers- women or men. On 25th May, teams made up of one male and one female competitor will take the Goodwood Motor Circuit to battle it out behind the wheel.
The pairings will use their own cars, with the women taking to track in the morning and men following in the afternoon. Qualified instructors will be available to offer tuition and advice.
Couples keen to take part will be asked to pay £360 - that includes the breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Places are being served on a first come first serve basis.
Organizers of the event said that “Who knows this track may even lay to rest the myth about women drivers”.
Whatever the outcome of this competition, female motorists may find it easier to secure cheap car insurance as ladies are generally regarded as posing fewer risks on the road as compared to their male counterparts.
